Marco Bezzecchi claimed pole position for the 2026 MotoGP Italian Grand Prix. Raul Fernandez and Jorge Martin completed the top three and will line up on the front row for both the Sprint and Sunday’s Grand Prix. On his return, Marc Marquez qualified fourth.

Q2

The final 15-minute session began with five Ducatis, three Aprilias, two KTM bikes, and one Honda and one Yamaha battling for pole position at Mugello. Following the first attempts, Martin was quickest ahead of Raul Fernandez and his teammate, Bezzecchi. The fastest Ducati rider was Di Giannantonio, who sat fourth after the opening lap.
The riders came out flying for their second runs, with multiple red sectors appearing on the screen. In the end, Bezzecchi took pole ahead of Raul Fernandez and Martin. Marquez was on a strong flying lap as well but lost considerable time in Sector 3. The Spaniard finished fourth ahead of Fermin Aldeguer and Francesco Bagnaia.
The quickest Honda rider, Diogo Moreira, finished eighth, while Pedro Acosta, after surviving Q1, finished 10th ahead of Enea Bastianini and Alex Rins.

Q1

The two Trackhouse riders, KTM's Acosta, and former MotoGP World Champions Joan Mir and Fabio Quartararo were among the competitors battling for the final two spots in Q2 in Italy this Saturday.
After the first attempts in the session, Acosta and Raul Fernandez occupied the top two positions. Ai Ogura was just four hundredths of a second away from a qualifying spot, while Mir, in P4, was trailing by around half a second.
On the second attempts, Fernandez managed to improve, but his teammate failed to do so. Ogura went for a final lap, but could not eliminate Acosta.
The all-time speed record also fell earlier today, with Martin reaching 368.6 km/h on his Aprilia in practice.
