F1 LIVE | Third free practice for the Italian Grand Prix in Monza

In the first two free practice sessions a Ferrari driver topped the timesheet, but at Red Bull Racing they are not worried. According to Helmut Marko, Max Verstappen had a lower engine setting than Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. Moreover, Verstappen will be placed five places back on the grid and his main focus will be on tuning a good race car.

Based on Friday's results, it looks like the Mercedes will not be able to match the speed of Red Bull and Ferrari. This is no surprise as a fortnight ago Toto Wolff's team was also unable to compete at Spa-Francorchamps. Mercedes seems to be the third team so far, but McLaren and Alpine have to be taken into account.

The chance of rain is nil. It is sunny in Italy and at the start of the third free practice, the temperature will be around 24 degrees.
