This year, George Russell and Max Verstappen have been battling each other multiple times on the track. The two rivals have often been in close proximity. Russell followed in Verstappen's footsteps with the purchase of a particularly pricey toy.
Verstappen was seen last week in Sardinia with his expensive yacht, where Toto Wolff happened to be as well. Reason for speculation, though GPblog dispelled the rumours. On Pershing images' X account, it has been revealed that Russell has followed Verstappen by purchasing a luxurious yacht.
Verstappen's yacht, however, is still a bit more expensive. The Dutchman bought it for a neat 12 million euros and is no less than 33 meters long. Russell bought his yacht for 'only' 3.6 million euros and has to make do with the Pershing 6X, which is just under nineteen meters long. The top speed of Russell's yacht is just under 90 kilometers per hour, making it faster than Verstappen's yacht, which reaches about 46 kilometers per hour.

Rumors surrounding Verstappen's future

The rumors surrounding the future of Verstappen were fueled when he was seen with his yacht off the coast of Sardinia. Toto Wolff was also seen with his yacht, but GPblog reported that it was a coincidence. Nevertheless, there is still uncertainty around Verstappen's future. GPblog has discussed the current situation around the world champion.
