Kelly Piquet shared a series of snapshots on social media from her daughter Lily’s first birthday party, which was also attended by Max Verstappen. Formula 1 still has a few days to enjoy its break before returning to action in Miami this weekend, with the four-time world champion making the most of the downtime to relax with his family. For the occasion, the Piquet family came together to celebrate little Lily’s birthday with an intimate party at home, decorated with flowers, balloons and themed details throughout. A birthday cake was, of course, part of the celebrations, with Piquet sharing a series of light-hearted photos - one of which carried the caption “Happy birthday my beautiful baby.”

Kelly Piquet confirms Lily’s birth date after months of secrecy
Over the past few days,
Piquet took to her Instagram Stories to reshare a fan-made video compiling clips and photos of her daughter, highlighting light-hearted family moments with Verstappen. The post included the message “Lily turns one today,” revealing her birth date after it had been kept under wraps for months.
Up until April 25, her exact birth date had never been publicly disclosed. It was only known that Lily was born shortly before the 2025 Miami Grand Prix, with Verstappen skipping media duties ahead of the weekend, pointing to the likely timeframe of her arrival. Piquet’s first child, from a previous relationship with Daniil Kvyat, was born on July 27, 2019.
Verstappen and Kelly Piquet also spent time at
the Classic Monaco Grand Prix last weekend, a three-day event running from April 24 to 26, celebrating historic single-seaters from different eras - ranging from pre-war machinery of the 1930s to early Formula 1 cars of the 1950s and 1960s, as well as the iconic designs of the 1970s and 1980s. Sharing the moment on her Instagram Stories, the daughter of three-time world champion Nelson posted a photo of Verstappen holding baby Lily in his arms, with the Dutchman pointing out the cars on track as they raced past.
