Fresh from his second-place finish at the Monaco Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton shared a series of photos from his weekend in the Principality, including one featuring his partner Kim Kardashian, who made her first-ever appearance in the Formula 1 paddock.

The seven-time world champion continued the strong run of form that began with his podium finishes in China and Montreal by adding another top-three result in Monaco. His second-place finish, combined with his team-mate's retirement and George Russell's points-less weekend, has lifted him to second in the championship standings, behind only the seemingly untouchable Kimi Antonelli, who is becoming increasingly dominant in this season's title race.
After six races, the Briton sits on 90 points in the championship standings, two clear of Russell and 12 ahead of the Monegasque driver, whose hopes of securing a third consecutive home podium were dashed by a collision at the Safety Car restart.

Among the photos shared by Hamilton in his latest social media post was one featuring the American media personality and businesswoman holding the glittery pink helmet the Ferrari driver wore throughout the weekend. The post also featured the ultra-rare Ducati Panigale V4 S 100, a special-edition model created to celebrate Ducati's 100th anniversary, which Hamilton rode to the paddock on one of the days during the Monaco Grand Prix weekend.

Hamilton builds on Monaco momentum as first Ferrari win 'couldn't be closer'

After securing a second consecutive podium with his runner-up finish in Monaco, Hamilton admitted that a maiden Ferrari victory feels closer than ever. The seven-time world champion acknowledged that, despite still trailing by 66 points in the championship standings, he is delighted to be sitting second overall and believes the team's recent progress is beginning to pay off.
Hamilton praised Ferrari's reliability and reserved particular credit for team principal Fred Vasseur, highlighting the support he has received since joining the Scuderia. He explained that both endured a difficult period last year, but feels the changes implemented behind the scenes are now producing tangible results on track.

"It couldn't be closer, but it's still 66 points. I can't believe that I'm second in the championship and I'm really happy and thankful for that. I couldn't have done that without this team, without the reliability that we have, and also with Fred. Fred has been awesome in supporting me. I think last year was really tough for both of us and [I've been] begging him for certain changes, and he pulled through and he did those, and now I'm seeing the fruits of that and I'm able to finally deliver for them."
While recognising the strength of the competition at the front, Hamilton stressed that the season remains in its early stages and insisted Ferrari will continue to push relentlessly. He also suggested that chasing rivals can sometimes be easier than defending a lead, expressing confidence that if the team maintains its current trajectory, a first victory together will eventually arrive.
