Track action will already get underway on Thursday, although teams and drivers could immediately be forced to deal with mixed weather conditions around the Nordschleife. Current forecasts point towards overcast skies, intermittent rain showers and temperatures hovering at around 7°C during the day, with a 50% chance of rain and gusty winds expected throughout the opening sessions, as per The Weather. Conditions are then set to become even colder overnight, with temperatures dropping close to 1°C alongside a 24% probability of precipitation.
On Friday, mostly cloudy conditions and scattered showers are currently expected around the Nürburgring, with temperatures reaching around 9°C during the day and a 40% chance of rain. Overnight, conditions are set to remain cloudy with temperatures dropping to approximately 3°C, while the probability of precipitation currently stands at 24%.
Saturday, when the
Nurburgring 24 Hours is set to officially begin at 15:00 local time, is currently expected to bring cool and mostly cloudy conditions around the circuit. Some rain showers could affect the early part of the day, with temperatures forecast to peak at around 9°C and the chance of precipitation standing at 30%. During the night, conditions are then expected to become partly cloudy, with temperatures falling to roughly 2°C alongside a 15% probability of rain.
On Sunday, the final day of the race, conditions are currently expected to improve slightly, with partly cloudy skies in the morning before cloud cover increases during the afternoon. Temperatures are forecast to climb to around 13°C, while the probability of rain currently stands at just 13%.

The countdown to Verstappen’s much-awaited appearance at the Nürburgring 24 Hours is almost over, with
the event set to begin on Thursday as competitors take to the Nordschleife for the opening qualifying sessions. The first runs are scheduled for the afternoon between 13:15 and 15:15 local time, while a second qualifying window will follow later in the evening from 20:00 until 23:30.
Friday will feature a crucial day for the grid order, with four separate qualifying sessions planned throughout the day. Top Qualifying 1 will kick things off from 08:50 to 09:25, before Top Qualifying 2 takes place between 09:45 and 10:20. Drivers will then return to the track for Qualifying 3 from 10:35 to 11:50, while the final battle for the leading positions is reserved for Top Qualifying 3, scheduled between 13:35 and 14:35.
The focus will then shift entirely to the race on Saturday. Following the morning warm-up session from 10:00 to 11:00 local time, preparations for the start will begin shortly before the green flag. The starting procedures are planned for 12:45, with the formation lap set for 14:40 ahead of the official race start at 15:00. From that moment on, teams will face a full 24-hour challenge around one of motorsport’s most demanding circuits, with the race concluding on Sunday afternoon.
