The daughter of Richard Hammond, Izzy Hammond, crashed the Lola Formula E car heavily at the Jeddah circuit.
Last weekend, two ePrix races were hosted in Saudi Arabia. After his heavy criticism of the new generation of Formula 1 cars, Max Verstappen was also invited by the competition's CEO, Jeff Dodds.
After the races had concluded, influencers took to the track in the Formula E Evo Sessions series, with the goal of setting the fastest time possible. One of the competitors was Izzy Hammond, who also has 288,000 followers on Instagram.
It did not go well for the daughter of the famous Top Gear presenter. In what is the final corner at the Formula 1 Grand Prix track, she hit the wall hard and heavily damaged the Lola Formula E car.
Fortunately, Hammond was fine after the incident. She confirmed this over the team radio, and later apologized to the team as well. Watch the video below!
