Joy and disappointment in Mexico: 'This gives Perez breathing space'

While his teammate Max Verstappen celebrated his 17th Grand Prix victory of the season, Sergio Perez missed the podium in Brazil. Not for the first time, and this time in an embarrassing way too. But - so is the good news - Perez did finish ahead of Lewis Hamilton. This allowed the Mexican to extend his lead over the Briton in the championship. With two races to go, Perez has 258 points, while Hamilton has to make do with 226. "So fourth place gives Checo some breathing space," Esto concluded.
