Horner seems to open the door for Hulkenberg: "Nico is a very strong driver"

Christian Horner has discussed next year's line-up at Red Bull Racing. Max Verstappen's place is certain in the Milton Keynes team, but it is still not known who will take place next alongside the 22-year-old Dutchman. Alexander Albon is the most obvious candidate, but in the German media Horner also seems to open the door for Nico Hulkenberg.
"Alex is, of course, our priority," says Horner tells Sky Germany after qualifying at Mugello. Red Bull Racing is therefore still aiming for a duo Verstappen-Albon in 2021, but with men like Sergio Perez and Nico Hulkenberg. two very good drivers nevertheless appear on the market, so it is not certain.

Maybe Hulkenberg?

The Red Bull team boss does not seem to want to rule out anything completely, although the Austrian team indicated at an earlier stage that they are not interested in the services of Hulkenberg or other drivers from outside. "Nico is a very strong driver who is available and still looking for a seat," Horner apparently keeps the options open.
