Marko on allegations against FIA president: 'Definitely not positive'

A year ago, the Emirati allegedly interfered with a penalty at the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix. Initially, Fernando Alonso was given a 10-second penalty, losing third place, but this decision was later reversed. Moreover, the FIA president allegedly pushed for officials not to certify the Las Vegas Formula 1 circuit.

The FIA's compliance department was informed by the whistleblower, who immediately made the matter known to the ethics committee. On Tuesday evening, the governing body announced that an investigation had been launched, incidentally without naming Ben Sulayem.
