Full grid for sprint qualifying race | Hamilton beats Verstappen to pole

The qualifying for the sprint race at the circuit of Silverstone has been won by Lewis Hamilton. He managed to keep his big rival Max Verstappen behind him. The difference was minimal with only 75 hundredths of a second. On the second row of the grid, we see Valtteri Bottas and Charles Leclerc. Sergio Perez has to settle for fifth.

The big surprise was perhaps George Russell. The Williams driver set a great time in Q2 that earned him a top-ten spot. In the final qualifying session on Friday evening, the Briton did the same with a P8 result!
