The final triple crown event of the season, the 24h of Le Mans has been completed over the last day. The Ferrari cars were the favourites, however, it was not the factory team that earned the Italians' third win at the French track in a row.
In the Hypercar category, it was the #83 AF Corse that won the 24h of Le Mans. Former BMW Sauber, Renault and Williams driver Robert Kubica played a key role in their success, driving around 10 (!) hours himself. The Polish driver's teammates were Ye Yifei and Phil Hanson.
Starting from last place on the grid on Saturday, the #6 Porsche Penske car finished in P2, with Matt Campbell, Kévin Estre and Laurens Vanthoor.
The podium was completed by the #51 Ferrari that won Le Mans two years ago, with former F1 driver Antonio Giovinazzi, James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi. They finished just ahead of the #50 Ferrari car, that won in Le Mans last year.

What happened in LMP2 and LMGT3?

In LMP2, the Inter Europol Competition got back to winning ways. The #43 car was driven by Nick Yelloly, Tom Dillmann and Jakub Smiechowski. They received a drive through penalty towards the final hours, but managed to take the victory.
In the LMGT3 category, the #92 Manthey 1st Phorm Porsche won with Ryan Hardwick, Richard Lietz and Riccardo Pera.
