Lewis Hamilton was noted by the stewards for a yellow flag infringement at the Singaporean GP Sprint Race, with the alleged offence having taken place moments after George Russell's crash. However, the Briton will face no further action for the incident.
Hamilton made a strong start to the Sprint, jumping from P6 to third once action eventually got underway following a 35-minute delay due to heavy rain.
On the first lap of racing action, however, Russell had got ahead of Red Bull's Max Verstappen but slid off at the exit of Turn 19, another heartbreak DNF for the Briton.
Passing Russell almost immediately was his former teammate Hamilton, but was noted by the stewards for an alleged offence under the resulting yellow flags.

The yellow flag incident is not the first to involve Hamilton this weekend, with the seven-time world champion complaining that long-time rival Verstappen passed him under yellow flags during Sprint Qualifying on Friday. The Dutchman, however, avoided any punishment.
Just moments prior to the end of the Singaporean GP Sprint, Hamilton's blushes were spared, with the stewards ruling no further action necessary on the Ferrari driver, who finished P2.
