Alpine's Pierre Gasly has been summoned by the FIA stewards over an alleged unsafe release involving Audi's Gabriel Bortoleto during Qualifying at the Dutch GP. Bortoleto and Gasly finished P9 and P11, respectively. The alleged offence is said to have taken place during Q1, which Gasly was successfully able to pass through, but he narrowly missed making it into the final 10. Bortoleto and Audi have impressed this weekend, however, with the Brazilian qualifying ahead of Arvid Lindblad.
Alpine have brought
a major upgrade package this weekend at Zandvoort, the Enstone team are sporting an impressive eight upgrades, including three relating to floor performance, and further performance upgrades to the diffuser, sidepod, rear corner, rear impact structure and rear wing.
Gasly, however, is the only Alpine driver to have the upgrades, with his teammate Franco Colapinto set to take the package at the next race in Monza. The Argentine finished P14 in Qualifying.
