Max Verstappen would of course have preferred to win the race, but with the fastest lap of the race, he limited the damage to an absolute minimum. Check out the lap that gave Verstappen one more point in Spain.

Max Verstappen led the Spanish Grand Prix for a long time but had to relinquish the lead to Lewis Hamilton with less than ten laps to go. The Brit opted for a strategy with two pitstops and arrived in time to attack the Dutchman. The Dutchman was a sitting duck on his old tyres.

Victory was out of the question, but Verstappen dived in for a set of soft tyres to set the fastest lap of the race. He fought it out with Valtteri Bottas, and the Dutchman won. Watch the lap that Verstappen did here.
