In the wet at Silverstone, just nine out of 22 drivers completed a dramatic race. The conclusion saw an end which, as described by Murray Walker, was unprecedented. Michael Schumacher made a mistake and got a penalty with just two laps to go. After the race, the penalty was withdrawn! The stewards had lost their FIA license.
