Video | Pierre Gasly holds broken wing mirror in FP1!

Pierre Gasly has had an eventful start to Sakhir Grand Prix weekend. The Frenchman had to pull out all the stops to finish his lap with a broken wing mirror and drive into the pits.

In the first half-hour of the second weekend this year in Bahrain, Gasly loses precious minutes on the new circuit. The Frenchman managed to set eighth fastest time in his AlphaTauri, but his wing mirror was broken.

Gasly had to drive back at a slow pace, keeping one hand on the wheel and using the other to hold the mirror. Watch the video above.
