Verstappen praises Red Bull Racing: 'Not many teams have that'

Red Bull Racing has put a new Behind The Charge-video online. In these videos, the team of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez gives a unique behind-the-scenes look at the test days and the first Grand Prix of the season in Bahrain.

The video not only follows Verstappen and Perez, there is also a special role for test and reserve driver Juri Vips. The Estonian driver is currently third in the Formula 2 championship and had an important role in the development of the RB18. Vips also talks to Perez and Verstappen, where he finds it hard to hide his admiration for the Dutchman.

The video also takes a look back at Verstappen winning the world title. The Dutchman also talks about how it has changed him towards the new season. "I try to enjoy everything a little more now instead of just having that focus on winning. That's not to say I go to a race differently now, but I'm a little more concerned with having a good relationship with Checo [Perez] and the rest of the team and having a good time."

Of course, the disappointing result of the race also comes into play. In the last few laps of the race, both Verstappen and Perez crashed out. Verstappen let it be known that it was very frustrating. The world champion had problems throughout the race, so a second place would have been a good result. All the more it was a bummer for the Dutchman to crash out.

Red Bull is not easily put off, however, and the team spirit is very good, according to the Dutchman. "We are really a close team. That's great. If we can help each other, we will.
