Perez grabs lead from Leclerc whilst Piastri and Sainz touch on opening lap

Oscar Piastri tangled with Carlos Sainz, damaging both the McLaren and Ferrari, and forcing the Australian to retire. Max Verstappen did not make a mega start from sixth place in the Belgian Grand Prix, but the Red Bull Racing driver still managed to make up two places. After this, he went on the attack on Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton. Meanwhile, Sergio Perez did make a mega-start and took the lead from polesitter Charles Leclerc.
