At the start everyone got away well without chaos, but on lap ten the first safety car was required with Mick Schumacher crashing into the wall.
It was already predicted that there would be at least one safety car in the race and it happens as early as lap ten of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Fortunately Schumacher is unhurt after the hard impact.

Verstappen in the lead

A lot of drivers immediately took advantage of the situation and come in for new tyres. Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas both came in but Verstappen stayed out and it looks to have paid off with the race now red flagged!
