The fight for the first car on track: This time it's not Williams

The second week of testing is underway in Barcelona. With teams desperate to record as many miles as possible, they all try to rush out on track to complete their installation runs.

Who comes out first

During the first test week in Barcelona, Williams was the first to come out of the pits. Next to George Russell, there was also a McLaren, but the team from Grove wanted to make a statement. After missing the test in 2019, it had to appear first on the track during the first test day of 2020.

This is slightly different during the second week. Now it is McLaren who can go out first, with Carlos Sainz who was ready for the red light early on. That does not alter the fact that Williams has also appeared on the track again and with all teams, the testing in Barcelona can really start again.
