Hamilton and Wolff discuss their F1 futures: "We need to do what is right for us"

Lewis Hamilton and Toto Wolff had an open discussion about their relationship and both of their futures at Mercedes and within Formula 1. While they didn't shed any light on specific goals, Hamilton insisted both he and his team boss will do what is right for the individual.

The six-time F1 world champion has been heavily linked with Ferrari. A lot of pundits and former drivers believe a move to Ferrari and winning the world championship will be the only step up for the British driver. Meanwhile, Wolff has been linked to many roles outside of the Formula 1 team.

Next season Hamilton will be pushing for his seven world championship, a total that would match Michael Schumacher's record. Meanwhile, Mercedes will be hunting down their seventh consecutive constructors' championship.
