Verstappen's frustration with the current form of racing
The four-time F1 world champion did not mince words about the 2026 cars at the
Suzuka Circuit.
"I'm not even frustrated anymore. I'm beyond that. Yeah, I don't know what to make of it," Verstappen
said after qualifying last Saturday.
"Yeah, I don't get upset about it. I don't get disappointed or frustrated by it anymore with what's going on," he continued.
"You know how I think about a lot of stuff, right? I don't need to mention it again. So a lot of stuff for me to personally figure out."
Verstappen continued in this tone after the race, where he finished in eighth place. Speaking to Viaplay,
he added:
"Yeah, I need to see what I really want. It’s about the future, that’s what it’s about. Not my private life. I’ll use the coming weeks, months for that.”Make GPblog your preferred source on Google and see our content first in Google Discover and Google News.
