Norris puts NFL star through his paces as they train together

Formula 1 has another big gap in the 2024 season. The Autumn break gives teams and drivers three weeks of rest before the final six races of the season. But that does not mean work and training stops, at least for Lando Norris. He welcomed NFL wide receiver and San Francisco 49ers player Deebo Samuel to the McLaren factory, with both athletes training together as they showed the differences between the sport.

Samuel, one of the best players in the NFL, travels from the USA to McLaren's factory to meet Norris, with both of them sampling workouts from each of their respective sports. Samuel also hopped into a simulator and was 'coached' by Norris as they both gained an understanding of the different sports.

As well as this, the American was also shown around the factory and was hugely impressed by the trophies on display, and he also had the opportunity to sit in the passenger seat of a McLaren road car an go out onto the roads. Watch the full video above.
