Lewis Hamilton's Hungarian Grand Prix victory means he has now recorded 81 Formula 1 wins during his career. This puts him just 10 races short of Michael Schumacher's all-time record. However, in the current era, Formula 1 has 21 races per season compared to just seven in 1950. Back when Schumacher was racing, there was only ever 16/17 races per year. This video adds context and attempts to link the eras together. 1 Grand Prix win in 1950 is worth 3 wins because there are now 3 times as many races.
