The final stage of the British Grand Prix was incredibly exciting. Charles Leclerc, Sergio Perez and Lewis Hamilton battled each other for podium places for laps. In the end, Perez ran away with P2 and Hamilton with third.

After the safety car, Carlos Sainz managed to overtake team-mate Leclerc for the lead. The Spaniard was able to immediately pull away from the rest of the field, as the drivers behind him engaged in a frenzied battle for the podium positions. For laps Perez, Leclerc and Hamilton swapped positions.
