Carlos Sainz is still without a seat for next season. However, several teams are interested.
Red Bull Racing, for instance, is keeping an eye on the Spaniard and the
Ferrari driver is top priority with
Audi's team.
Sky Sports reporter Ted Kravitz says Sainz has been given an ultimatum by
Audi to make a decision, but the Spaniard's choice depends on
Max Verstappen's decision on his future.
 Next year,
Lewis Hamilton will take over Sainz's spot at
Ferrari. Since then, there have been many rumours about where the triple race winner's future lies. Audi, for instance, has confirmed that the Spaniard is top priority at the team, but Red Bull is also interested.
Audi wants to hear choice Sainz soon
Sainz has so far not signed a contract. It is possible this will happen soon, though. According to Kravitz, Audi have given the Ferrari driver an ultimatum for a decision. Sainz has until the end of May to let the German team know whether he wants to join the new
Formula 1 project. Otherwise, Audi will switch their attention.
Sainz wants to become Verstappen's replacement at Red Bull Racing
On the other hand, Sainz is said to be waiting for developments at
Red Bull Racing again. Verstappen has been linked with a move to Mercedes, and the Spaniard would like to take advantage of this, only this could, therefore, also come at the expense of a deal with Audi.
