World famous rockstars throw crowd into a Verstappen frenzy!

A filmmaker with a soft spot for Ronnie Peterson, Gilles Villeneuve, Mika Hakkinen and above all, Tazio Nuvolari and Ayrton Senna, is also a diehard Formula One fan since the age of 4 (mid-90's). An avid researcher of the past of Grand Prix Racing since before it was even named F1, and with a thirst for knowledge of the ins and outs of the actuality of the sport, as well as for the technical aspects that define it, is a member of GPblog since 2023, where he has put his love of racing to good use.
The Max Verstappen song has become a regular feature at events across the Netherlands, and last Tuesday at a sold-out Ziggo Dome, Danish band Volbeat joined the trend.
During their performance, frontman Michael Poulsen encouraged the audience to sing, “tut tut tut tut tututu, Max Verstappen,” a call the crowd responded to enthusiastically. Footage shared on social media shows the audience participating loudly and in unison.
The track, officially titled 33 Max Verstappen, was created in 2018 by DJ duo Carte Blanq in collaboration with Maxx Power. Since its release, it has become a recurring fixture at F1 circuits worldwide and a popular crowd anthem at festivals. Poulsen also wore a Max Verstappen shirt during the Ziggo Dome performance.
Other artists have incorporated the song into their shows. Recently, a Korean musician performed it at the same venue, and it has become a known feature at the Tomorrowland festival. Verstappen himself has said he no longer actively listens to the track, joking that it has given him a form of post-traumatic stress.

Watch Volbeat singing Verstappen's song
Volbeat are scheduled to play in Antwerp, Belgium, this Wednesday, close to Verstappen’s hometown of Hasselt. The band will return to the Netherlands on 22 October for a show at Rotterdam Ahoy, where the anthem is expected to be performed again.
The continued popularity of 33 Max Verstappen illustrates the cultural impact of the Dutch driver beyond the track, demonstrating how F1 fandom has extended outside of the confines of racing, stretching his grasp into music and live events.
