Wolff not dissatisfied after Concorde Agreement: ''No team has won''

Just before the new Concorde Agreement was signed by the ten Formula 1 teams, Toto Wolff kept his leg stiff. This was not a good deal for Mercedes, but in the end the team boss of Mercedes put his signature on it.

Mercedes was not entirely satisfied with Liberty Media's proposed Concorde Agreement. Ferrari still got the extra money as a historic team and Red Bull Racing has more advantage of two teams. Mercedes has neither and therefore wanted to return to Formula 1. In the end it didn't come to that, because Mercedes also signed the agreement.

''At the end of the day, it remains a negotiation in which everyone has their own agenda and objectives. I spoke out because we are not as valued as we had hoped after the last seven years, but on the other hand you also think about the future of the sport'', says Wolff according to Motorsport.com.

Where Ferrari will have drawn with a more positive feeling, Wolff is happy that there is no winner. ''Every team will feel that they could have gotten more out of it, but it is the best outcome to work together in the future. If there's one team that comes out best, the others feel they've failed'', concludes the Mercedes top man.
