With these upgrades comes Red Bull during third day of testing in Bahrain

Red Bull Racing announced on Friday that the team would come out with a number of upgrades the following day. The Austrian racing stable kept to that, as on Saturday morning Sergio Perez took to the track with some interesting changes to the car.

Whereas Mercedes and Red Bull were the best performing teams in Formula 1 last year, Ferrari is making the most of the 2022 preseason for now. However, it is questionable whether Ferrari's competitors are already showing the back of their tongues, as was evident on Saturday morning.

Perez had to wait in the garage for the first part of the third test day to prepare the car, but was allowed on the track after fifty minutes. He impressed the other teams with his first flying lap and set the fastest time.

Red Bull has made changes to the car on a number of fronts. For example, it can be seen that the Austrians are driving with a different floor. In addition, they have put different side pods on the car, with which the team hopes to stay ahead of the competition. In any case, the first signs of the performance of the new Red Bull are good.
