Helmut Marko previously hinted that
Sebastian Vettel might take up a management position within
Red Bull Racing in the future. Sky Sports reporter Karun Chandok does not think this is a crazy idea at all and is even already suggesting which position the German would be particularly suited for.
Chandhok believes that Vettel would be particularly suited to lead
Red Bull Racing's junior programme and therefore sees him as a logical successor to Marko, should the Austrian step down from the position in the future. Marko has long led the Red Bull Junior Team in a very successful manner, but the programme is known to be ruthless.
After the 2022 F1 season, Vettel put an end to his career. The farewell of the four-time world champion, who achieved his greatest successes with the
Red Bull Racing team, was widely celebrated. The driver himself has not yet disclosed his future plans, but a return to the sport has not been ruled out. What is clear, however, is that he definitely does not see a job as a co-commentator.
