Charles Leclerc is hoping to get back on track with Ferrari this year. After a grey, mediocre season for the Scuderia the young Monegasque saw his experienced teammate and four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel leave for Aston Martin.

Charles vs Seb

Vettel has been far from reborn in green so far after being beaten by Leclerc the previous season. With the current balance of power, Leclerc could be facing Seb on track more often than he'd like.
Motorsport.com asks Leclerc how he would feel the moment Vettel overtook him on track, given their history. "I don't think in such a case I would then think to myself, 'oh well, he was my teammate and I beat him and now he's in front of me'. When I close the visor there's no room for those thoughts."

According to Leclerc, if he is overtaken on track by his former teammate, the goal is clear: "If Seb overtakes me then I will immediately try to regain my position. I don't think I have any other thoughts in my head at that moment."
