Verstappen wins the first race after a dominant performance

Max Verstappen has written another online race to his name. The first lap of the sim race on the circuit of Spa-Francorchamps went to the Dutchman, where the second race ended slightly less well.

For Team Redline, Verstappen was at the start of a new race in the championship that will be held with the simulation of iRacing. Besides Verstappen also Lando Norris, Juan Pablo Montoya, Felipe Nasr, Fleix Rosenqvist, Antonio Felix da Costa, Daniel Juncadella and Nelson Piquet Jr were at the start. A true star cast.

During the first race Verstappen quickly took over the lead from polesitter Lorenzo Colombo and then headed the whole race. The competition was lurking on a mistake from the Dutchman, but Verstappen didn't make it. Norris got a few beeches after a bad start and finally finished in sixth position.

In the second race things went slightly different. Verstappen and Norris continuously changed the lead until the second last lap, but then things went wrong. After a phenomenal overtaking by Verstappen the Dutchman appeared to have settled for something. He got on the kerb and then went into a spin. He took Norris with him and the two saw their chances of victory and even a podium go up in smoke. In the end it was Kelvin van der Linde who won the second race, followed by Eng and Jensen.
