Verstappen: 'Will be a bit of a defence to try and keep the points lead'

The gap between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton is now six points. There are only six races to go and the Dutchman thinks it will be exciting until the last moment. He's not too worried about the championship.
Does Verstappen himself expect the championship to be decided in Abu Dhabi? "I would hope so. I don't think we have the strength to pull away. It will be a bit of a defense in terms of trying to keep the points lead, but Mercedes have been very strong in the past few races and it is up to us to bounce back," he replied in an interview with PA Agency.
"If we have the pace in the car to win the championship, we will win the championship, and if we don't have the pace, we won't. I can only focus what I can control," Verstappen continued.

Verstappen's world wouldn't change

"Of course, it would be a great achievement if it happened but I don't really dream about these kind of things. Since I was little, my dream was to get into Formula One and then to win a world championship. But winning a championship wouldn't change the world for me, and it would be wrong if it did," Verstappen added.
