Verstappen on heated discussion with Lambiase on radio: 'Have had this before'

Things got pretty rough over the radio between Max Verstappen and Gianpiero Lambiase. The two have often clashed, but today the frustration was very apparent. However, Verstappen himself does not think it was more heated than usual, he told GPblog and others.

It is well known that Verstappen and Lambiase are always fair to each other. As a result, things can get pretty tough at times. Helmut Marko stated in the past that the two are like a married couple, with the way they treat each other.

In the past, the two have been at odds with each other many times, but frustrations really ran high in Hungary. When Verstappen was asked about it, he replied, "Oh, I've had this before."

When Verstappen was then pointed out that things were more heated than usual this time, the Dutchman responded: "I don't agree with that, but I was just irritated by how things went today. Maybe at that moment the team did not realise what they had done wrong, or maybe they had not seen that it was so serious, but in the car you obviously have other feelings."
