Max Verstappen has said that there are 'plenty of races left where we can do a good job', looking at the bigger picture of the 2025 championship. With one-third of the
Formula 1 season already complete, there have been many ups and downs for the Dutchman and his team, struggling with a troublesome RB21.
However, at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, a turning of the corner for the Austrian team looked possible. Versappen was able to outpace the dominant McLarens with his newly-upgraded car,
taking an impressive victory in Italy to reel in both Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris in the championship.

Verstappen sees opportunities for himself and Red Bull
For the first time since the 2021 season, Verstappen is chasing the world championship after dominant years at the top of the standings in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
"I think I do prefer being 50 points in the lead than 20 points behind, because that's obviously easier," Verstappen explains after the race in Monaco on the Talking Bull podcast.
"I think everyone prefers that. But, of course, that is not the reality, but it's still a long season. You want to do well here, but also want to do very well in Barcelona.
"Imola was a very positive weekend for us. The street circuits are always a bit more hectic and sometimes a little bit more random when it comes to the final result. But yes, there are plenty of races left where we can do a good job," continued the Dutchman, looking at the bigger picture.
With Verstappen now chasing the pack instead of leading it, does that change his approach to the race weekends? "
I think you always just have to try and maximise what you have," responds the four-time world champion.
"Whether it's about winning races or not, that's what you should always try to aim for. It's about being as consistent as you can be throughout the year without making too many mistakes. That is always key," Verstappen concluded.
