After Christmas, Max Verstappen is likely to spend New Year's Eve away from his home in Monaco. The Dutchman is looking forward to switching off. "I'm really looking forward to that, first of all. I really need it."
- Max VerstappenAccording to flight information from the four-time world champion’s private jet, Verstappen and his family are likely going to spend New Year’s Eve in Brazil.
Verstappen's partner,
Kelly Piquet, is from the South American country, and they previously flew together to the Sao Paulo Grand Prix as a family. As such, this will not be Lily's first trip to the country, but it will be the first time Verstappen and Piquet’s child together will celebrate the New Year.
Yesterday, the jet landed in Rio de Janeiro, but the exact location where they will celebrate the New Year remains to be seen. In an Instagram story, Piquet recently posted a photo while staying at a beach.
Verstappen on his holiday plans
The Dutchman likes to keep his off-track life private. In the Talking Bull podcast, Verstappen briefly mentioned his plans for the off-season.
He said: "So, first Christmas together, then on holiday with some good friends as well. I'm really looking forward to that, first of all. I really need it."
