Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen has started the new Formula 1 season well. The Dutchman finished third and spoke with Jack Plooij from Ziggo after the race.
"Yes, I was very happy to overtake Vettel on this difficult circuit," Verstappen said.
"The car felt good. The soft tire went less well, but I had more grip on the yellow medium tire. I was bothered by the wind because then you are sliding more. This felt better on the yellow tires."
“This is also great for Honda. This is their first podium since 2008 and the first in the V6 hybrid era."
Towards the end of the race, Verstappen had a chance to take Lewis Hamilton. But a trip over the grass at turn one ended his hopes.

“I adjusted something and then I braked. In the end, it didn't make sense, because you can't catch up here. Lewis had too much speed compared to Vettel," said Verstappen.
