The final day of the Barcelona pre-season test is now underway, and Red Bull Racing is back on track. It's the fifth day of the first winter test of the 2026 campaign at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, where teams are permitted to test their cars on three occasions.
Red Bull Racing returns to the track after Isack Hadjar's crash on Tuesday. On Thursday,
GPblog learned that Red Bull Racing did not participate as additional parts also had to be flown in from Milton Keynes.
Today, it is
Max Verstappen's turn on track to complete a full day in the RB22.
Other than that, Ferrari, Cadillac, Haas, Alpine and Audi are reportedly on track doing laps.
McLaren and Aston Martin could also run today. The Woking-based team
had issues a day ago with the fuel system.
Aston Martin only completed a few laps on Thursday after arriving for the final two days of the Barcelona winter test.
These teams will definitely not run today
After unofficial lap times suggested another strong performance on Thursday, Mercedes completed its three day stint a day ago.
