Many teams are coming to the
Canadian Grand Prix with updates to their cars, including
Aston Martin, who have brought many upgrades,
hoping to get closer to Red Bull Racing. Red Bull are only introducing a new front wing in Montreal, whereas
Ferrari have nothing new on the car at all, and
Mercedes bring only one update.
The AMR23s of
Lance Stroll and
Fernando Alonso have been fitted with a new floor, a new engine cover, and the cooling has also been adjusted slightly differently at
Aston Martin in Canada this weekend. Red Bull are trying to get even more performance out of the RB19 with the new front wing, with
Mercedes only taking off a wing at the sidepod of the W14.
Alpine will also come with some new updates in Montreal, hoping to attack the top four teams. The French team has updated its rear wing and also has a different rear suspension than before. AlphaTauri, like Red Bull, only comes to Canada with a different front wing.
Williams are the team with the most upgrades, coming into this weekend with seven. The floor, the rear suspension, and the engine cover have been updated by the British team. Haas and
Mclaren have three and two new upgrades respectively, while Alfa Romeo has only one update.
Ferrari are the only team without updates at the
Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
