Trouble for F1 fans: Silverstone, Spa and Budapest campsites bankrupt

It is a regular fixture for many F1 fans: camping near the circuit during Grand Prix weekends. Especially at Silverstone and Spa, a camping spot is popular. However, with this race coming up, there is a problem: Camping F1 Ltd, which operates a lot of these campsites, is bankrupt.
The company has since informed everyone who has made a booking that bookings can be made at reduced prices with another party. Camping F1 apologises for the inconvenience, but is not releasing anything about the possible refund of already settled bookings. In bankruptcy, it is not usually the case that customers will see their payments refunded.

Multiple circuits have a problem

Besides Silverstone and Spa, the company also operated campsites near the Hungaroring in Budapest, Monza and near Monaco. For the Austrian Grand Prix, it was also possible to book a place with Camping F1. It is unknown what happens with that.

A place to pitch one's own tent could be booked through Camping F1. With the company, it was also possible to book a tent already set up. Moreover, Camping F1 provided live entertainment at the venues.
