Max Verstappen qualified on the front row of the grid 12 months ago under the lights but was involved in a first turn crash with the Ferrari's. According to a Dutch racing legend Tom Coronel, on this street circuit, the Dutchman has a good enough car to win. And he expects it to set the tone for the remainder of the season.
Talking with the website of the Formula 1 magazine, Coronel believes the Marina Bay Street Circuit gives Verstappen an advantage.
"Red Bull generally performs better on rough street circuits. The few relatively short straights in Singapore work in favour of the RB14," Coronel said.
It's hard to argue if you look back at history. Verstappen's front row qualifying result last year supplies some track evidence while Daniel Ricciardo's victory in Monaco provides the Red Bull's evidence.
Coronel believes the young driver, who is approaching his 75th Grand Prix start, can make an impact this weekend which will set the tone for the rest of the season.

"In such a situation that Max factor comes with it, its killer instinct", continues the Ziggo Sport F1 analyst. "In my opinion, he has the best chance of winning all the remaining Grands Prix."
