Mick Schumacher: "Everything fell into place after Spa"

Mick Schumacher has completely flipped the script in Formula 3 in recent weeks, as the German has been getting really close to championship leader Daniel Ticktum, who looked to be cruising to the title at first.
His last name, and having a father like Michael Schumacher, it must give a lot of pressure. At the start of the season, Mick was fairly average, not standing out by any means. Then, Schumacher won at Spa Francorchamps, and he's been on fire since, winning five of the next nine races.
"I think the most important improvement has been my qualifying," Schumacher told Speedweek.
"It had to fall into place.
"You want to combine your own style with a new car and that takes some time.

"In Spa, it all started clicking and since then, it's been going automatically."
Coming out of nowhere, Schumacher junior is only three points behind Ticktum now, a Red Bull junior driver who has been hailed as a great young talent. Can't beat those Schumacher genes, though!
With offers from the DTM and Formula 2 already coming in, Schumacher will have control over his own fate. Formula One fans will undoubtedly want him to pick the latter option so he can maybe get into F1 someday, just like his father, who became champion seven times throughout his career.
