Silly season is fast approaching us. McLaren has fired their shots early by signing contract extensions for both Carlos Sainz and British driver Lando Norris. A lot of teams have at least one driver confirmed for the 2020 Formula 1 season, but nobody is confirmed through 2021 with the overhaul of rule changes set to shake-up the sport.
Perhaps the most anticipated gird slot is Valtteri Bottas. Will Esteban Ocon get his chance in the Silver Arrow, or will Bottas get another year to prove his skills and maybe continue to challenge Lewis Hamilton.
Elsewhere, there are suggestions that Fernando Alonso might replace Pierre Gasly at Red Bull, while anything can really happen at Ferrari. This is how the grid is currently shaping up for the 2020 Formula 1 season.
