While Formula 1 is on its summer break, the football season is about to begin, as the English Premier League and LaLiga will start this weekend. Max Verstappen tried to create a 'Fantasy Premier League team,' but it proved to be quite a challenge.
While Verstappen is enjoying his time off from Formula 1, Red Bull Racing posted a video on social media showing the Dutchman assembling his 'Fantasy Premier League team'.
This is a game where participants have to select players from the English league to form their 'team'. The player can choose any footballer, but their value has to be within £100 million. If the selected players do well, the participants earn points.

Verstappen struggles in Red Bull's video

Verstappen clearly had difficulties setting up his team. The Red Bull Racing driver expressed that there were far too many players to choose from: "It's causing me a bit of a headache."
Eventually, the four-time world champion fell short by half a million virtual pounds to complete his team. However, he didn't seem too worried in the end: "It'll even itself out," he concluded.

Max Verstappen on holiday

Verstappen himself is currently on vacation. This week, pictures surfaced on the internet showing the Red Bull Racing driver on a yacht with Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff, as the two have a good relationship and also children roughly the same age (Penelope, Verstappen's stepdaughter, and Jack, Wolff's son).
Entering the summer break, the Dutchman trails championship leader Oscar Piastri by 97 points in the standings.
