The absolute best (and highest earning) drivers travel in style. The greats often have their own private jet, while others simply charter one. These are the private jets of the drivers and team bosses.
Max
Verstappen recently bought a brand new aircraft, a Dassault Falcon 8X, with an estimated value of 50 to 55 million euros. PH-UTL (Unleash The Lion).
Lando Norris has a Learjet 60
A relatively 'cheap' airplane worth a few million, with the McLaren stickers on it. It's not his own jet, but he used the Learjet for example the Belgian GP. Many drivers charter their airplane, sometimes with multiple drivers on board! This way, Mclaren's driver line up sometimes travels together, as can be seen in the picture below.
Lance Stroll has a Bombardier Global 5000
The Stroll family has enough money to buy their own private jet, with Stroll likely having his own Bombardier Global 5000, with a price tag of a whopping 50 million dollars - more than 42 million euros. Second-hand they are cheaper, sometimes down to twenty million.
Fernando Alonso has his Falcon 900C
A slightly cheaper model:
Fernando Alonso's Falcon 900C. For under ten million dollars you can have one. A fine aircraft for a fine price - and handy for Alonso with his busy
F1 driver schedule.
Toto Wolff and Lawrence Stroll: Bombardier Global 6000
Mercedes team boss
Toto Wolff and Aston Martin F1 owner both travel in comfort with a Bombardier Global 6000. The plane is known for its long range, comfort and three environments in the aircraft. Traveling in style, also for team bosses.
Lewis Hamilton sold his private jet
Once, Lewis Hamilton had a Bombardier Challenger 605, all in red, with a price tag of around 25 million. An impressive aircraft, but due to climate concerns, he sold his jet. This does not, however, mean he no longer flies privately: he now charters private jets as needed, rather than owning one himself.
This, by the way, is also how other drivers handle it. To the best of our knowledge, these are the jets owned by the current drivers. Teams often share a jet to the destination country for a race, along with the managers, important people from the team, etc... Here is Hamilton's impressive former jet!
