The problem with this Vettel penalty is that Hamilton did something similar in the 2016 Monaco GP and got away with no penalty. FIA needs to be consistent with their penalties #CanadianGP

I know that people are upset over the penalty given to Vettel but Vettel made a mistake and proceeded to rejoin the track in an unsafe manner. The rule is it’s a plenty. Deal with it. x.com/mine_CSGO/stat…

Not a Ferrari fan, not a Vettel fan, I'm English but I still think this was Vettel's win. He was trying to regain control of his car, not push Lewis off the track. The sport needed his win as much as he did #CanadianGP #f1
