The official trailer for the eighth season of Netflix’s Drive to Survive has been released ahead of its launch on 27 February.
The now-traditional date with Netflix’s hit series is just around the corner, with fans set to relive the key moments of the 2025 season from fresh angles and with brand-new behind-the-scenes insight, enjoying their favourite drivers away from the racetrack and on the small screen.
Among the new faces featured in the series is, of course, Kimi Antonelli, who made his Formula 1 debut last year. The Italian appears in the trailer delivering the line “driving at 30 kph is boring.”
Other familiar figures also return, including Christian Horner, who despite completing only half a season before his departure from Red Bull last July, still features prominently — as he has in previous editions.
Plenty of attention is also given to the three-way title battle between the two McLarens and Max Verstappen, which ultimately culminated in Lando Norris edging it to seal the world championship in Abu Dhabi.

'Antonelli loses driver’s licence after road crash'

The Italian walked away unscathed from a road accident last week, but the crash could still carry an unwelcome consequence for the young F1 prospect.
Speculation on social media suggested Antonelli may have been travelling at up to 180 kph (112 mph) in a 70 kph (43 mph) zone. However, GPblog understands these claims are unconfirmed at this stage, although Antonelli’s driving licence is believed to have been temporarily confiscated. GPblog has contacted Mercedes for comment, but the team says it is still awaiting the police report.
