Both Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris have given their thoughts on the final four races of the 2025 season as a gripping championship battle continues to bubble up. "I think the most important thing is I feel like I've gained some new things, some new knowledge, and, ultimately, it's going to help me going forward."
A blip in the form of Piastri has seen his teammate replace him at the top of the standings, while a deficit of 104 points that he once held over Max Verstappen now sits at just 35 points.
The Australian is still searching for his first win since the Dutch Grand Prix, and back-to-back fifth place finishes at the United States and Mexico City Grands Prix have seen him lose his grip on the championship.
"I think for me the last couple of weekends have definitely been some speed bumps in the way," Piastri said in
McLaren's debrief on X.

"But, I think the most important thing is I feel like I've gained some new things, some new knowledge, and, ultimately, it's going to help me going forward for not just this year, but for hopefully the rest of my career.
"Some bumps in the road, but I think a lot of adaptations, and I think once I know what I'm looking for and once I know what to set my sights on, then I can go and achieve it quickly. It just took a little bit to get there."
After those two P5 finishes in as many races, Norris
now leads his teammate by a single point with just four more rounds remaining in the 2025 season.
Norris laser-focused on final four races
Norris' dominant win at the Mexico City Grand Prix saw the 25-year-old retake the lead in the drivers' standings for the first time since the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
Now, with just those four Grand Prix weekends left remaining, including two sprint race weekends, the Brit is fully focused on maximising everything he possibly can, knowing any mistakes will be punished in what is turning into an intriguing title battle.
"For the rest of the season, one-hundredth can put us, potentially, on pole or fifth, sixth, whatever it might be," explained Norris.

"Even in Q1 and Q2, sometimes it's even closer in Q1 and Q2 than it is in Q3, so you can almost be out in Q1 or Q2 just because of being one or two-hundredths off.
"So every little thing, even though at the time you might not think little things are going to make a difference, by the end of the season, and I think when you actually review all these little tiny things together, sometimes that can make a big difference.
He concluded: "At the end of the season, that can gain you two or three places, it can win you a championship, and it can win you a constructors. It's just a reminder that every little thing helps, and I think we have to keep fighting for those little things.
The season continues next week with the Sao Paulo Grand Prix at Interlagos, where a total of 33 points will be up for grabs.
