Special action ended well: "I could not see him"

The Aston Martin team must have been shocked by the incident between Lance Stroll and Sebastian Vettel during the Russian Grand Prix. Both drivers seemed to drive each other off the track, but the incident ended just fine.
The German driver made an overtaking manoeuvre on his teammate but found out that Stroll didn't see him at all. The latter driver steered towards the wall, almost ensuring it was the end of the race for Vettel. "I couldn't see him. The contact was nothing special," Stroll stated in conversation with Speedweek.com.
Stroll and Vettel both finished in Russia just outside the points. The drivers came no further than eleventh and twelfth place respectively. "To take points, we should have pitted a lap earlier for intermediates. It also didn't help that I was stuck in traffic after a tyre change on a dry track," said Stroll.

Aston Martin in world championship

Vettel is doing better than his teammate so far this season. Where the German is in twelfth place in the world championship with 35 points, Stroll is in thirteenth place with eleven points less. The gap between Vettel and number eleven Esteban Ocon is ten points.
